Enters Additional Market in Latin America
WATERBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2004--
DiaSys Corporation (AMEX:DYX - News) a global diagnostics products
company, announced today that it has entered into a distribution
agreement with Tecnodiagnsostica, the largest distributor of
clinical diagnostic products in Costa Rica. Founded in 1985,
Tecnodiagnostica is the exclusive distributor in the country
for Beckmann Coulter Inc., Olympus, bioMerieux, Meridian Diagnostics
Inc. and other leading providers of diagnostics products. Costa
Rica represents the second key market in Latin America that
DiaSys has entered in the past week. Previously, the Company
announced that it had entered Latin America through a distribution
agreement with Repreclin S.A. Tecnodiagnostica has close to
700 diagnostic instruments installed in the country. The Costa
Rica Social Security agency performs over one million parasite
tests annually, and close to three million urine tests per year.
